21 BRIDGES (2019)

An NYPD detective is on a citywide manhunt to catch a couple of cop killers, with time running out he is under pressure to catch the criminals because Manhattan’s 21 bridges have been closed down for the man hunt after uncovering a massive controversy.

21 bridges is an old fashion cops vs robbers movie, a bit predictable but quite engrossing. With the duo behind Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame in the production crew expectations were high and it is fair to say The Russo Brothers a pretty decent job but with how great their movies have been in recent years I think they could’ve done more. Chadwick Boseman did well also, besides being a tad too melodramatic and some might say he was a bit “too much”. The supporting cast I deserve a lot of plaudits because they all did very well.

While this movie isn’t winning any awards it is more than enough to keep you entertained for a couple of hours. The script was tight with little time wasting and filler scenes nearly every minute was engaging. Although, there’s not much you haven’t seen in some other cop movies it does keep you wanting to know how it pans out. Also what is a cop movie without some fellow officers also being involved with criminals.

On a final note, I think it’s a movie nearly everyone would enjoy seeing.
